A man who took on a trota while recovering from a hernia has destroyed a world record for executing 465 half marathons in just one year.
Edward Molineaux, a 34 -year -old personal coach, recorded a surprising 6,000 miles between April 6, 2023 and April 7, 2024.
Not only did its achievement break its own record of 282 half marathons in 12 months, between 2022 and 2023, but also a world title, according to the SWNS News Agency.
“I used to love sports like boxing, but when I suffered a hernia, it cost me about two years after my operation to recover my body,” said Molineaux.
“All I could do was run. I could no longer resort to anything explosive.”
What started as a way to recover -became a regular habit.
According to reports, Molineaux, which is British, is now inspired by others through their dedication.
“All I could do was run.”
“I love inspiration to other people and the feeling of warrior,” he said.
“Even being around people who do well, I like to see people better and go higher.”
The resistance athlete won a 2,000 mile virtual race in Africa.
“I pushed”
Molineaux said that it structures its week around 13 half -marathon runs, often stacking several races in one day, by SWNS.
“To complete the half marathons, I divided my week into 13 runs, with three on Monday and Wednesday, two on Tuesday and Thursday, and only one half marathon for the remaining three days,” he said.
Even through the blisters, the foot of the trench and fatigue, he said it is not determined.
“Some days I didn’t feel like doing it, but you have to do it,” he said. “It’s one of the hardest parts for me but I pushed.”
Its nutritional strategy is as disciplined as its training.
“I really don’t eat before running; I don’t like to feel -M my full as I put on my miles,” he said. “I really stay with a lot of fruit, mainly bananas. For half marathon, I run with an empty stomach, maybe just a banana.”
At night, he said he fed with meat and fish.
“Everything comes from belief.”
“You won’t get a kick and not stay in your stomach and you can go at a faster pace,” he added.
Molineaux’s passion for self -discipline and mental resilience is essential for his philosophy.
“What I would do is do a half marathon in about two hours, rest for five minutes and then go up to the next,” he said.
“You don’t know how the body will react or get a second wind. Everything comes from belief.”
Molineaux was officially recognized for its realization on June 1, when he received his World Record Certificate of Records Breakers, said Swns.
His journey from the recovery of injuries to the head of the world record has made him a symbol of perseverance.
Molineaux said: “I like to show people that you can do it through everything and through anything”,
